Description

Unit Specifics:

· Scrub Color(s): Green (provided by the hospital)

· Number of Beds : 6 pre-op/phase II, 2 PACU

· Patient Ratios : 2-3:1

· Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : RN’s only (No techs, hucs, or PCTS) prepare patients for surgical procedures and monitor post op in PACU or Phase II recovery. Majority patients discharge home same day.

· Type of equipment : GE monitors

· Documentation system: Cerner

Requested Skill Set:

Pre-op/PACU experience

Must have:

BLS, ACLS, PALS

Procedures performed on unit:

General Surgery, minor othro and laparoscopic sx’, podiatry, ophthalmology, GYN, endoscopy

M-F 7a-3p (no call)
