Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room

Location: Summit, NJ
Contract Length: 8 weeks
Schedule: 3 x 12-hour Night Shifts (7:00 PM – 8:00 AM)
Hours: 36 hours per week
Department: OR Support Staff

Compensation Package (Estimated Weekly)

• Gross Weekly Pay: $2,811
• Tax-Free Stipend: $1,533
• W2 Hourly Rate: $35.50/hr (36 hours)

Key Responsibilities

Clinical & Perioperative Care

• Perform thorough, systematic patient assessments.
• Scrub and circulate for surgical procedures.
• Provide age-appropriate care across the surgical continuum.
• Demonstrate knowledge of surgical diagnoses, procedures, and equipment.
• Individualize care based on procedure type and anesthesia.
• Conduct pre-operative and post-operative assessments and education.

Requirements

• Active New Jersey RN License – Required
• BLS Certification – Required
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room experience – Required
• Must be able to scrub and circulate – Required
• CNOR Certification – Preferred
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (ASN or BSN preferred)
