Travel Contract Job – Interim Radiology Director
Location: 210-Bed Acute Care Hospital
Schedule: 5x8 Days | 40 Hours per Week
Charting System: EPIC

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced Interim Radiology Director for a travel contract opportunity. This is a leadership-focused role — no clinical radiology practice required. The primary focus will be operational oversight, financial performance, and imaging service optimization.

Job Overview

This interim leadership role will support and oversee Imaging Services operations with an emphasis on:

• Budget development and financial management
• Capital project planning and execution
• Operational efficiency and workflow optimization
• Performance improvement initiatives
• Departmental leadership and manager oversight

The department includes 150 FTEs within a 210-bed acute care facility.

Imaging Modalities Overseen

• X-Ray
• CT
• MRI
• Ultrasound
• Nuclear Medicine
• PET
• Mammography
• Bone Density

Required Experience

• 3–5 years in a management role required
• 5+ years of progressive management experience in patient care
• Strong background in imaging services operations
• Experience with budget oversight and capital planning

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required OR 10 years of progressively responsible experience in Diagnostic Imaging
• Master’s degree preferred
• CRA preferred

Certifications

• Active registry with a recognized professional organization required
