Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) to oversee Physical Therapy (PT) and Occupational Therapy (OT) services in a skilled nursing setting. This leadership role focuses on managing therapy operations, supporting clinical staff, and ensuring high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance.
Assignment Details:
- Contract duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: Days
- Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily operations of the rehabilitation department (PT/OT)
- Supervise, mentor, and support therapy team members
- Oversee care planning, patient progress, and therapy outcomes
- Ensure compliance with clinical, regulatory, and documentation standards
- Manage staffing schedules, productivity, and department performance metrics
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
- Support quality improvement initiatives and program development
Requirements:
- Active state professional license (PT, OT, or related therapy discipline)
- Minimum 2 years of rehabilitation experience
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Skilled Nursing Facility experience preferred
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
