Description
Job Title: Locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Specialty: Anesthesia
Location: Clinton, IA
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8-hour shifts (40 hours/week)
Call: Optional, once trained
Assignment Type: Locum Tenens
Position Overview
Seeking a board-certified CRNA for a locum opportunity supporting a busy operating room in an independent practice setting. The provider will work a consistent weekday schedule with no weekend requirements. Ideal candidates are interested in full-time availability (Monday–Friday), though reduced overall commitment may be considered if full weeks are provided.
Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia services for:
- General Surgery
- Orthopedics
- Gastroenterology
- Urology
- ENT
- OB
- No head or cardiac cases
- General, GI, and Orthopedics represent the majority of case volume
- Support approximately 50–55 cases per week
- Practice independently
- Inpatient responsibilities required
- Utilize EPIC EMR
Facility Details
- Multiple ORs plus GI and OB suites
- Experienced physician and OR staff team
- No telehealth or outreach
- Medical imaging, lab, and pharmacy onsite
Requirements
- Board Certified CRNA – Required
- Active Iowa CRNA License or Active Compact License – Required
- Clean malpractice and background history – Required (recent NPDB)
- Experience preferred; strong new graduates considered
