Description

Position: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Nights, 6:30pm–7:00am 2 Night shifts, 1 Day shift Available

Schedule: 3×12‑hour shifts

Location: Must live 100+ miles from the facility

Requirements

RRT only (CRT not accepted)
2+ years of experience required
NICU and Adult Care experience required
Active license required (do not submit without)
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP
Must be able to work independently in high‑acuity settings

Position Description

The Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory care under physician prescription. Responsibilities include:

Obtaining and analyzing physiological specimens
Interpreting cardiopulmonary data
Performing diagnostic tests and studies
Managing patients with cardiopulmonary abnormalities
Applying and monitoring medical gases and environmental control systems
Managing mechanical ventilation and artificial airways
Performing bronchopulmonary hygiene
Administering respiratory‑related pharmacologic agents
Supporting cardiopulmonary rehab and hemodynamic stability
