Must have Hospital Setting experience for consideration The Behavioral Health Licensed Social Worker assesses the patient’s psychosocial problems and needs at admission and ongoing thereafter and, in collaboration with the patient, family significant other, and members of the treatment team, develops a plan for treatment and aftercare based upon the identified, prioritized, psychosocial problems.

The Licensed Social Worker acts as primary therapist for assigned patients. - Assesses the patient's psychosocial problems and needs within the required time frame after admission and ongoing thereafter. -

Collaborates with the patient, family/significant other, and the others of the treatment team.

Carries out the plan for treatment and aftercare as designed, evaluates the patient’s responses to the planned interventions, and makes decisions regarding continuation or revision of the treatment plan.

Collaborates with physicians and other members of the health care team to further their understanding of significant social and emotional factors underlying the patient’s mental health problems.
