Description
Radius Rule: 50 miles
Department: LDRP
*Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, NRP*
- Common diagnoses/Types of patients: >35 weeks in labor, Mom/Baby couplets
- Years Experience: 2yrs experience required
- Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?): 7-7 // block scheduling
- Weekend Requirements: Every third weekend
- Holiday Requirements: Depending on availability
- Floating Requirements: Floating to MSP/ED for helping hands, mostly sitting 1:1 with patients
- Additional Notes: This is a rural hospital, distance from NICU >1 hour away, limited services. Attributes that help a nurse be successful in this unit team work, provider consistency, knowledge, independence, good communication. Surgery is in charge of the C section, we just circulate for the baby.
