Specialty Imaging Technologist – CT Scan

💲 $34.85 – $54.02 per hour
Job Overview
We are seeking a full-time Specialty Imaging Technologist (CT) to perform diagnostic imaging exams in computed tomography and related specialty areas. The ideal candidate will have strong trauma experience and the ability to operate advanced imaging equipment while ensuring patient safety and high-quality diagnostic results.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT and specialized diagnostic imaging procedures
- Operate advanced imaging equipment and software
- Administer contrast and monitor for reactions
- Perform venipuncture as needed
- Follow radiography protocols and quality control standards
- Maintain patient safety, infection control, and compliance standards
- Collaborate effectively with clinical and administrative teams
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology Program
- Active Nevada State License in Radiology
- ARRT Registered in Radiography
- National Certification in CT or other specialty area
- BLS Certification (AHA accepted)
Preferred Qualifications
- ARRT Registered in Computed Tomography
- Minimum 3 years of CT experience in a trauma setting
- Experience with CT interventional procedures
Schedule & Physical Requirements
- Full-time position in a clinical setting
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift/move patients and equipment as required
