Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - MedSurg / Telemetry

Location: Ranson, West Virginia
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7pm to 7am), full-time (36 hours/week)
Schedule: Rotating weekends and holidays
Unit Size: 16 beds
Nurse to Patient Ratio: 1:5

Job Description

• Provide nursing care on a MedSurg / Telemetry unit
• General duties include:

  • Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI)
  • Wound management
  • Patient assessments
  • Catheter care
  • Orthopedics care
• May float to Telemetry unit if needed (not mandatory)
• Use of EPIC electronic health record system required

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license in West Virginia or a compact state
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (AHA)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification (AHA)
• Experience with EPIC system
• Must have valid driver’s license with an address outside 50 miles from the facility
