<p>Department: 2E SICU <br />*Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS and NIHSS; </p><p>Preferred: TNCC* </p><p># Beds: 16, plus 2 additional procedural beds. <br />- Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:2, 1:1 higher acuity pts (ex. CRRT, immediate post-op hearts, MTP, OPO), <br />1:3 medsurg/floor status pts. - Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Cardiovascular surgery (CABG, AVR, MVR, AAA), traumas (level 2 trauma center), NSTEMI/STEMI, vascular surgery, neurosurgery, general surgery, ortho surgery, ENT surgery, any other surgical pts needing ICU. <br />- Experience or 'Must have' skills: Must have experience with our patient populations and high acuity, we are the tertiary care center for MCHS. CRRT, IABP, Impella, and ECMO experience are not required but certainly desired/helpful.</p>
