Department: Respiratory Therapist

It can be challenging to find or too expensive. - # treatments per day: 4-8 Treatments per round. 

- Certs: ACLS BLS NRP - Types of patients: Adults mostly, peds- typically stabilize until transfer. 

Minimal cases are admitted. 

Neonates (up to 28 days)- attend high risk c-sections and to assist with PPV if needed before transfer. 

- What areas do they cover: ER, SPCU, OB with high risk C-Sections, Stress Lab (may teach), PFT lab (may teach), EEG lab (may teach). 

Outpatient training/competency is dependent on contract length and availability. 

- Experience: Mechanical ventilation including NIV with Hamilton C1. 

All types of inhalation therapy, EKGS, ABGs, ISTAT. 

One year of experience. 

Highly prefer Epic experience. Neo puff- and able to support high risk c-sections. 

- Job Duties: Draw ABGs, perform EKGs with the use of ISTAT. 

Holter monitor set up.
