Nurse Manager – Operating Room | Cambridge, MA
Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts
Department: Operating Room / PACU / Pre-Op / PAS
Contract: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 40 hrs/week
Shift: Days | 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Job Overview
CHA Cambridge Hospital is seeking an experienced Operating Room Nurse Manager to oversee OR, PACU, Pre-Op, and Pre-Admission Screening departments. The facility includes:
- 5 Operating Rooms
- 1 Endoscopy Room
- 9 PACU Bays
- 5 Pre-Op Bays
- 4 Secondary Recovery Bays
- 3 PAS Clinic Rooms
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations of the Operating Room
- Manage clinical and administrative functions
- Coordinate staff and patient flow
- Support PACU, Pre-Op, and PAS departments
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years OR Nurse Manager experience
- Acute care supervisory experience required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Active Massachusetts RN License
- AHA BLS certification required
- CNOR preferred
- Travel experience required
- Two recent supervisor/manager references
