Position Overview
Billings Clinic is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant specializing in Medical Oncology to provide full‑time support across both the outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital setting. This role is ideal for an advanced practice provider with a strong oncology background who thrives in a collaborative, patient‑centered environment and can commit to consistent monthly coverage.
Assignment Details
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (8‑hour days)
- Coverage Need: Full‑time; 3–4 weeks per month
- Setting:
- Clinic: General Medical Oncology
- Hospital: Inpatient oncology support
- Weekends: No weekend coverage required
- Call: No call responsibilities
- Start: Upon completion of credentialing
- Experience Required: Minimum 5 years of Oncology experience
- Rate $130 Per Hour
Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to oncology patients in both clinic and hospital settings
- Conduct assessments, manage treatment plans, and monitor ongoing therapy
- Collaborate with oncologists, nursing staff, and the multidisciplinary care team
- Support patients through diagnosis, treatment, symptom management, and follow‑up
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with clinic standards
Qualifications
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Minimum 5 years of Medical Oncology experience required
- Active Montana license
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and patient‑education skills
