Travel Opportunity – Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – NICU
Bring your neonatal and critical care expertise to a high-acuity academic medical center in Springfield, MA. This night shift assignment is ideal for an experienced Respiratory Therapist who thrives in fast-paced environments and is confident managing both adult ICU and neonatal populations.
Position Details:
Start Date: 3/23/2026
Location: Springfield, MA
Schedule: 3x12 Nights
Contract Length: 13.14 Weeks
Floating: Not required
Call: Not required
Key Responsibilities:
Provide advanced respiratory care in high-acuity critical care settings
Support NICU and neonatal populations with ventilator management and airway stabilization
Manage adult ICU patients requiring complex respiratory interventions
Perform ventilator setup, monitoring, and troubleshooting
Conduct ABG analysis and respiratory assessments
Administer oxygen therapy and aerosolized medications
Respond to Code Blue and Rapid Response events
Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care
Clinical Environment:
High-paced, high-acuity setting
Adult ICU experience required
Neonatal experience required
Emergency Room experience preferred
Strong team-based culture
Requirements & Qualifications:
RRT preferred
BLS certification required
Minimum 3 years of Critical Care/Acute Care experience preferred
Ventilator management experience required
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
Important Notes:
Candidate must be comfortable managing both adult ICU and neonatal cases
Strong clinical judgment and adaptability are essential
