Travel Opportunity – Physical Therapist (PT)

Bring your clinical expertise and passion for patient recovery to Kings Mountain, NC. This extended assignment is ideal for a motivated Physical Therapist who enjoys working in a collaborative acute care environment and helping patients regain strength, mobility, and independence.

Position Details:

Start Date: 3/24/2026
Location: Kings Mountain, NC
Schedule: 5x8 Days
Contract Length: 24.57 Weeks
Floating: May float to nearby campus as needed
Call: Not required

Key Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive functional evaluations
Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
Provide hands-on therapy and therapeutic exercise instruction
Treat acute care patients including orthopedic, neurological, ICU, and general disability populations
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate rehabilitation plans
Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and continued recovery strategies
Document patient progress accurately using EPIC EMR

Clinical Environment:

Acute care setting
Patient population includes ortho, neuro, ICU, and general medical cases
Collaborative and supportive department culture
4–5 day department onboarding
Free parking available

Requirements & Qualifications:

Active state PT license required
BLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of experience required
First-time travelers accepted
Experience in ortho, neuro, and acute care strongly preferred

Weekend coverage required
Schedule negotiable (Friday–Monday or Thursday–Monday options may be available)
