Description
Minimum Years of Experience required? 2 years specific to IR/Neuro IR and at Level 1 Trauma
Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
o Interventional Radiology – Comprehensive Stroke Center
o Stroke, Cancer, Tumors, blocked vessels -Peripheral, Carotid, IVC, SVC, etc.
▪ Neuro: Stroke, Ruptures, Subdural fistulas, any complex Neuro cases can be seen (3 Neurosurgeons currently on staff)
▪ Body: complex bleeds, several providers who have started Oncology services (Liver and other types of cancer), abscess drains and other interventions
● Required License, National Certification, Certifications (BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance:
o IR Tech: BLS; ARRT-R or RCIS
● Skills required:
o Scrubbing and assisting in procedures; being able to circulate/operate on the back end for the procedures (2 techs per case); being knowledgeable about equipment
