Job Summary

Seeking a Registered Nurse with Medical-Surgical specialty experience to work in a 57-bed unit providing care to patients of all ages. The unit offers a patient ratio up to 1:6 with PCA assistance and uses MediTech EHR. The role involves working primarily on the 3rd and 4th floors in a medical-surgical combination unit.

Shift & Hours

• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: Every Other/As Needed
• Call Requirements: As Needed
• Float Requirements: As Needed, with possibility to float to like units

Patient Population & Common Diagnoses

• Serves all ages
• Common diagnoses include COPD, post-op joint care, and diabetic population

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kentucky
• Minimum 1 year of Medical-Surgical nursing experience within the last year
• Certifications required prior to start: ACLS, BLS, and HWC
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

• Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
• Must be located 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify as a travel nurse
• Dress code: Any scrub color allowed; branded attire from other facilities is not acceptable
