Physician Assistant (PA) / Nurse Practitioner (NP) – Urology
📍 Location: Bronx, NY
💰 Compensation: $135,000 – $150,000 (based on experience)
🕒 Employment Type: Full-Time
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join a dynamic Urology team in the Bronx, NY. This role includes a mix of outpatient care, inpatient rounding, and surgical support, providing comprehensive urologic care in a collaborative clinical environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care while supporting quality improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient urologic evaluations and follow-up care
- Perform inpatient rounding and hospital consultations
- Assist in surgical procedures and perioperative management
- Develop and implement patient treatment plans
- Collaborate closely with urologists and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in quality improvement and clinical initiatives
- Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems
Required
- Master’s degree from an accredited PA or NP program
- Active New York State license (PA or NP)
- NCCPA certification (for PA) or AANP/ANCC certification (for NP)
- Active DEA registration
- BLS and ACLS certification
Preferred
- 1–2 years of clinical experience (Urology experience strongly preferred)
- Experience in surgical or hospital-based settings
