Physician Assistant (PA) / Nurse Practitioner (NP) – Urology

💰 Compensation: $135,000 – $150,000 (based on experience)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join a dynamic Urology team in the Bronx, NY. This role includes a mix of outpatient care, inpatient rounding, and surgical support, providing comprehensive urologic care in a collaborative clinical environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care while supporting quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient urologic evaluations and follow-up care
• Perform inpatient rounding and hospital consultations
• Assist in surgical procedures and perioperative management
• Develop and implement patient treatment plans
• Collaborate closely with urologists and multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in quality improvement and clinical initiatives
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems

Required

• Master’s degree from an accredited PA or NP program
• Active New York State license (PA or NP)
• NCCPA certification (for PA) or AANP/ANCC certification (for NP)
• Active DEA registration
• BLS and ACLS certification

Preferred

• 1–2 years of clinical experience (Urology experience strongly preferred)
• Experience in surgical or hospital-based settings
