Description
Shift: 07:00 AM – 03:30 PM
Requirements:
- Associate’s degree in Radiology or equivalent certification required
- RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) required
- Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
- 1–3 years of Ultrasound Tech experience preferred (however, 5+ years required for this role)
Responsibilities:
- Operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment
- Perform all aspects of cardiac scanning including:
- M-Mode
- 2-D
- Color Doppler
- Doppler
- Exercise testing
- TEE
- Reports to the Supervisor Cardiac Sonographer
- Works within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures
Job Details:
- Facility uses Philips equipment
- Traveler must be proficient in TEE, TTE, and Stress Echo
- Must have at least 5 years of experience – needs an experienced tech who can jump right in
- Epic experience is a plus
- Ability to start IVs is a plus
- Uses Lumason as imaging agent and performs bubble studies
