Job Description

Position/Specialty: IR Tech
Shift Schedule: 5x8s, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Daily Caseload Per Tech: 4
On-Call Requirement: Yes – rotation between two other techs
Weekend Requirement: Yes – every third weekend
Floating Required: No
Required Experience: 1 year
First-Time Travelers Accepted: Yes
Required Case Experience: General IR
Preferred Case Experience: Neuro IR
Required Certifications:
- BLS
- ARRT (R)
- SCQRSA
Radiation Badge Required: Yes
- Must be provided by the agency
- MUSC does not provide radiation badges to travelers
Block Schedule Accommodation: Requires manager approval upon request
Charting System: Epic
