Description

Title: Echo Tech

Location: Northampton, MA, 01060

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Days (8*5)07:00 AM – 03:30 PM

Requirements:

Associate’s degree in Radiology or equivalent certification required
RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) required
Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
1–3 years of Ultrasound Tech experience preferred (however, 5+ years required for this role)

Responsibilities:

Operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment
Perform all aspects of cardiac scanning including:
- M-Mode
- 2-D
- Color Doppler
- Doppler
- Exercise testing
- TEE
Reports to the Supervisor Cardiac Sonographer
Works within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures

Job Details:

Facility uses Philips equipment
Traveler must be proficient in TEE, TTE, and Stress Echo
Must have at least 5 years of experience – needs an experienced tech who can jump right in
Epic experience is a plus
Ability to start IVs is a plus
Uses Lumason as imaging agent and performs bubble studies
