Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Ambulatory (Gastroenterology)

Contract Length: 22 weeks

• Position requires candidates who can commute within 30 minutes of the practice location in Limerick, PA.

Job Description

• Temporary contract role supporting Gastroenterology clinic.
• Responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing clinic messages
  • Sending out pathology letters
  • Patient education
  • Capsule endoscopy support

Required Experience

• Physician Practice experience required
• Gastroenterology (GI) experience preferred

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system preferred

Compliance & Training

• Candidates must be ready to start compliance process immediately upon award acceptance.
• Medicals and drug screens must be initiated within 72 hours of award acceptance.
• Background checks and multiple screenings required (including BLS, drug screen, immunizations, license verification, and others).
• A 5-hour training session will be scheduled on a Wednesday prior to the start date (8am-1pm).

Certifications & Screenings Required

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Background Check
