Experience: Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience within specialty area and 3-5 years of supervisory experience preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed above may be substituted for the above education and experience requirements

Job Summary: The Nurse Manager assumes 24-hour responsibility of the management of the Endoscopy Unit and Interventional Radiology. The Nurse Manager is responsible for assessing, planning, directing and evaluating patient care for an assigned patient care nursing units on a 24 hour basis. The incumbent assures the delivery of quality services and that professional nursing is practiced in accordance with the established standards of nursing and the standards of practice at Emerson Hospital Reporting to this position are various clinical professional and support positions, including Registered Nurses, Certified Nurse Assistants, Patient Care Assistants and Unit Secretaries
