Description

Make a direct impact as a Special Education Teacher in Easton, MD! Cross Country Education is looking for a dedicated and adaptive SPED educator to step into a vital long-term role to ensure students with diverse learning needs have the stability and guidance they need to finish the 2025–2026 school year strong.

Position Overview:

Facilitate specialized instruction and manage a fluid caseload of 10–15 secondary students with diverse needs, including Autism, Learning Disabilities, and Language Impairments.
Develop and execute Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), ensuring all modifications and accommodations are met.
Maintain essential instructional consistency and personalized support for a high school caseload, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support student success.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Special Education or a related field
Valid Maryland Special Education Teaching Certification (or immediate eligibility for Maryland reciprocity)
Prior experience with middle or high school-aged students across various disability categories, specifically OHI and Autism
