SCU/Telemetry RN – Night Shift | 12H | Travel | 13 Weeks

Shift & Schedule

• 12-hour Night: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Rotating weekends and holidays
• 13-week contract

Unit & Patient Population

• Unit: SCU/Telemetry (Cost Center 20)
• Total Beds: 10 (5 ICU + 5 Telemetry)
• Patient Ratios: 1:3–5 depending on acuity
• Common Diagnoses/Types of Patients:
  • Ventilated surgical patients
  • Trauma, bowel obstructions, COPD
  • Ventilated overdoses, COVID patients (SCU/Tele average census: 9)
• Floating: Rare, may float to MedSurg (ratio 1:5–6)

Licensing & Certifications

• RN license: Required (willing to wait for submission if needed)
• Required Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS
• NIHSS: Preferred

Experience & Skills

• Competency with IV drips, ventilator management, and vasoactive medications
• Positive attitude and teamwork required

Scrub & Appearance Requirements

• Scrubs: Traveler provides own, navy blue
• Jackets: Navy, grey, or black (no hoodies/sweatshirts)
• Hair: Natural colors only

Submission & Compliance Notes

• Drivers license address must be outside 50-mile radius
• Only 1 submission per position across WVU system
• COVID-19 Vaccine Required (or approved exemption form)
• Cancellation Policy: 2 shifts per 13-week contract
• Charting System: EPIC
• BSN Required: No
• Trauma Level: Critical Access Hospital
