Position Overview

A well‑established healthcare facility in Peoria, IL is seeking an experienced Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13‑week assignment. This is a weekday day‑shift role with guaranteed 40 hours, offering stability and a consistent schedule. The ideal candidate is confident performing a full range of nuclear medicine procedures, maintains strong attention to detail, and is comfortable working both independently and within a collaborative imaging team.

Requirements

Active ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification
Current BLS
1+ year of recent Nuclear Medicine experience
Active Illinois state license
Strong technical skills and ability to work independently

Responsibilities

Perform nuclear medicine procedures including general imaging, SPECT, and SPECT/CT
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately
Ensure proper patient identification, education, and radiation safety
Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to support timely diagnostics
Maintain equipment readiness and complete accurate documentation
Provide professional, patient‑centered care across all imaging settings
