Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Requirements

Licensure & Certifications

Active PT Assistant License (State License must be current)
BLS/BCLS Certification required

Education & Experience

Associate Degree required
Minimum 3 years of experience required
Long-term care or skilled nursing facility experience preferred

Skills & Qualifications

Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent documentation and time management abilities
Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills
Compassionate, resident-centered care approach
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Ability to read, write, and understand English

Physical Requirements

Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
Lift up to 50 lbs (over 50 lbs requires 2-person assist)
Frequent lifting/carrying up to 20 lbs

Work Environment

Interdisciplinary rehabilitation setting
No holiday coverage required
