Music Therapist – Mental Health Inpatient Unit
Schedule:
- 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday (day shift)
- Rotating weekend coverage
Requirements:
- Must be licensed or certified as a Music Therapist
- AHA BLS certification required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Utilizes music therapy techniques to support patients’ emotional well-being, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with patients with mental health conditions, developmental and learning disabilities, and age-related conditions.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and interpersonal skills.
Special Training
- Proficient in playing guitar, piano, drums, autoharp, and Orff instruments
- Strong vocal and singing abilities
