Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – School Setting

13-Week Contract | Medford, OR | 40 Hours/Week

Position Overview

We are seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based assignment in Medford, Oregon. This role supports students by assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders to help them achieve academic and developmental success.

This is a 13-week contract with the opportunity to continue through the school year.

Start Date: ASAP
Location: Medford, OR
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Expected Hours: 40 hours per week
Note: Candidate will only be paid for hours worked. No pay for school holidays or closures.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations for students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary team members
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state regulations
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal development
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Oregon Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
• Experience working in a school setting preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage a caseload effectively and meet documentation deadlines
