⏱ Guaranteed Hours: 40 hrs/week

Unit: Adolescent Psychiatry (Ages 3–17)
Shift: Days (No block scheduling)
Local Candidates: Accepted within 50 miles (Local rate applies)

Job Overview:

Seeking an experienced Licensed Social Worker to provide behavioral health support within an acute care adolescent psychiatric unit. The ideal candidate will have strong crisis intervention skills, experience in acute psychiatric settings, and the ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities:

Provide psychosocial assessments and treatment planning for pediatric and adolescent patients (ages 3–17).
Deliver therapeutic interventions and crisis stabilization.
Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, case managers, and multidisciplinary teams.
Participate in discharge planning and coordinate community resources.
Maintain accurate documentation within EPIC EMR.
Participate in unit-based initiatives and patient advocacy efforts.

Patient Population: Pediatric & Adolescent Behavioral Health (3–17 years)
Charge Capability: Highly preferred
Floating: Not required
Scrub Color: Any
Orientation: 1 week

Requirements:

Minimum 2+ years of Social Work experience (acute care required)
Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW)
Active LCSW, LICSW, or LMHC
AHA BLS Certification
Must work every other major holiday
Flu vaccine required during flu season
EPIC experience preferred
First-time travelers accepted
Previous travelers and former FT employees accepted (subject to review)
