Accounts Receivable Associate – Orthopedics

📍 Location: Uniondale, NY
🕒 Schedule: Monday–Friday | 40 hours per week
💰 Pay Rate: $24–$26 per hour

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Receivable Associate to join our Orthopedics practice in Uniondale, NY. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of medical billing, insurance follow-ups, and revenue cycle management within a healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and process accounts receivable for orthopedic services
• Follow up on outstanding insurance claims and patient balances
• Post payments and reconcile accounts accurately
• Review and resolve claim denials and discrepancies
• Communicate with insurance companies regarding claim status
• Maintain accurate financial records in the billing system
• Collaborate with front desk and billing teams to ensure clean claim submission

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1–2 years of Accounts Receivable experience (Orthopedics or medical practice preferred)
• Knowledge of medical billing, CPT/ICD-10 coding, and insurance processes
• Familiarity with EHR/EMR and billing software
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills
