Description

Shift: 6:30 AM-5:00 PM

Late shift assigned to cover a room running late is applicable

40 Hour Surgical Technologists are responsible for assisting in nursing care and preparation of surgical patients by performing scrub duties. Provides assistance in emergency procedures as well as elective and scheduled cases. Assists in preparation, transportation, and supervision of patients. Maintains education in surgical operating room and related aspects of patient care. Submission requirements: 2+ Years of Experience - [REQUIRED]Proficient in Ortho - specifically total joints, hip fx, arthroscopy, ORIFs, and shoulder scopes and replacements-[REQUIRED]Vascular proficiency -[REQUIRED]Neuro proficiency -[REQUIRED]Must have completed 2+ travel assignments- RequiredMust have completed a successful assignment with your agency - RequiredCandidate's Permanent Address(Facility will not consider local candidates - 50-mile radius restriction)Profile Requirements:Work historySkills Checklist, current to 1 year, pertinent to the specialty (Operating Room) -[REQUIRED] [DOCUMENT]2 Supervisory References with dates employed listed -[REQUIRED] [DOCUMENT]Active American Heart Association BLS-[REQUIRED] [DOCUMENT] Rate:76 OnCall:5-6 calls required per month WeekendDescription:On call only Certifications:BLS (AHA) Guaranteed Hours: 40
