Exciting Opportunity with PediaStaff: School Occupational Therapist in the Tacoma, Washington area.
 
PediaStaff is a trusted leader in pediatric therapy and educational staffing solutions, connecting passionate professionals with rewarding school-based and clinic opportunities since 2004. We're currently seeking dedicated School Occupational Therapist ($60-$65 an hour) to support students in elementary through high school in the Tacoma, WA area for the upcoming school year.

Qualifications: 

• Must hold at least a Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy
• WA state license and ESA certification are required

Role Overview:
As an OT, you will support students in school settings by assessing their needs, developing individualized plans, and implementing interventions to help them succeed academically, socially, and physically. This role offers the opportunity to work with young learners in a supportive school environment while making a lasting impact on their development.

Job Details:    

• Dates:  ASAP - 6/12/26
• Hours: 7.5 hours per day, 37.5 hours per week   
• Setting:  School, elementary through high school
• In-person only
• $60-$65 per hour 

Key Responsibilities:  

• Assess students' motor, sensory, and functional abilities to identify areas of need and develop individualized therapy plans.
• Deliver targeted occupational therapy interventions in accordance with students' IEPs, helping them achieve academic and developmental goals.
• Work closely with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to create supportive learning environments tailored to students' unique needs.
• Contribute to the development of IEPs by offering insights on motor development, sensory needs, and appropriate accommodation or modifications.
