Description

Job Description:
Block scheduling will NOT be offered.
Must float between Pre-Op and PACU
Pre-Op shift 6:00a-4:30p.
PACU shift 8:00a-6:30p.
Must work every other major holiday

Unit Specifics:
Pre Op/ PACU rotate
Required Drips & Medications: PACU occasional pressor (neo, etc.) support.
Lines of Service: General, GYN, Urology, Plastics, Ortho (TJ, Sports Med, Podiatry, Hands) Vascular (vein ligations, stab phlebectomy, some IR procedures will have IR tech) (ok to approve if it is not their strong suit), Endoscopy also done in OR. PACU will also recover IR pts that receive anesthesia.
Number of beds: Pre-op 5 bays and 8 PACU.
