Description

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery
Location: Morristown, NJ 07960
Department: Delivery Room
Schedule: 36 hours/week | 3 x 12-hour shifts | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

Assessment & Clinical Care

Perform systematic, comprehensive, and accurate patient assessments.
Deliver age-appropriate care across the lifespan as appropriate to unit population.
Provide direct patient care in alignment with the nursing process and team-based care model.
Demonstrate competency with emergency equipment and obstetric procedures.

Labor & Delivery Expertise

Manage care for high-risk obstetric patients in a fast-paced delivery room environment.
Monitor maternal and fetal well-being, recognizing and responding to complications.
Individualize patient care based on diagnosis, procedure, and anesthesia type.

Requirements

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience
Experience in high-risk, large hospital settings required

Licensure & Certifications:

Active RN License (Required)
BLS – Required
ACLS – Required

Education:

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (Associate’s Degree required)
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (Preferred)

Compensation Package

Gross Weekly Pay: $3,073
Weekly Stipend: $1,561
W2 Hourly Rate: $42/hr
36 hours per week
