📍 Cambridge, MA | 🗓️ 13 Weeks | ⏱️ 40 hrs/week | 🔄 Rotating Pre-Op & PACU Shifts + Call
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – Pre-Op / PACU with 2+ years recent Pre-Op and PACU experience. Must be comfortable floating between Pre-Op and PACU and managing post-anesthesia recovery, including occasional pressor support (e.g., Neo). Experience recovering IR patients receiving anesthesia preferred. Travel experience preferred (strong first-time travelers may be considered).
Schedule Details:
- Pre-Op: 6:00a–4:30p
- PACU: 8:00a–6:30p
- Weekday Call: 2–3 nights per 4-week schedule (work 11:30a–10p, then call 10p–7a)
- Weekend Call: Approx. every 4–5 weeks (Sat 7a – Mon 7a)
- No block scheduling
- Must work every other major holiday
- Charge capability highly preferred
- Local candidates within 50 miles accepted (local rate $8 less than posted rate)
Exposure to General, GYN, Urology, Plastics, Ortho (Total Joints, Sports Med, Podiatry, Hands), Vascular, IR, and Endoscopy cases. Unit includes 5 Pre-Op bays and 8 PACU bays.
Certifications required: Current AHA BLS, ACLS & PALS (Active or Conditional MA RN license; Flu vaccine required)
