Description

⏰ Shift Details

Schedule: 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each (4/10’s)
Shift Type: Variable (may include different start times)
Workweek: Monday 12:01 AM – Sunday 11:59 PM
Overtime: After 40 hours per week
On-Call: No regular on-call requirement listed
Holiday Coverage: Not required

🩻 Key Responsibilities

Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures
Ensure proper patient positioning and image quality
Follow ALARA radiation safety principles
Review physician orders and coordinate exams with radiologists
Retrieve and compare prior mammography images
Educate patients on breast health and self-examination
Maintain quality control of mammography equipment
Support additional imaging services including:
- Bone Density exams
- CT scans
- General X-Ray
- Fluoroscopy / OR procedures
Advocate for patients to reduce delays and improve care coordination
Participate in departmental committees and outreach initiatives
Perform other duties as assigned

📋 Requirements ✅ Required Licenses & Certifications ARRT Registration in Radiography (R) and Mammography (M) Active California Radiologic Technologist License Active California Mammographic Technologist License Active California Fluoroscopic Radiologic Technologist License AHA BLS Certification (American Heart Association) California Venipuncture Certificate (required within 3 months of hire) 🩻 Experience Requirement Minimum 5 years of Mammography Technologist experience
