RN – Preoperative / PeriOp | Outpatient Surgery Center

We are seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week contract in State College, PA.

Position Highlights:

Day shift: 6:15 AM – 2:45 PM (Mon–Fri)
No weekends, holidays, or on-call
Outpatient surgery center setting
8-hour shifts

Responsibilities:

Pre-op patient assessment and preparation
IV starts, chart review, and patient education
Assist with perioperative workflow and coordination
PACU/recovery support as needed (airway monitoring, pain management)
Accurate documentation and collaboration with surgical/anesthesia team

Requirements:

Active RN license (PA or compact eligible)
BLS, ACLS, PALS
Minimum 2 years of Pre-Op / PeriOp / PACU experience
Experience in outpatient or ambulatory surgery preferred
