Travel LPN / LVN – Med Surg / Tele Float

Shift: Days – 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or Night -7:00PM to 7:30AM 
Schedule: 3x12s

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced LPNs/LVNs for a Med Surg / Telemetry float position. Floating is required throughout the assignment.

This is a great opportunity for practical nurses who are comfortable working in multiple units and adapting to varying patient acuity levels.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients in Med Surg and Telemetry units
• Monitor and document vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and patient status changes
• Administer medications and treatments within LPN scope of practice
• Assist RNs and physicians with patient care plans and clinical procedures
• Perform wound care, dressing changes, and basic bedside procedures
• Support telemetry monitoring and promptly report abnormal findings
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
• Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatments, and discharge instructions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe and effective care
• Float between assigned units as needed to meet facility staffing needs
• Adhere to hospital policies, infection control standards, and patient safety protocols

Requirements

✔ Minimum 2 years LPN experience
✔ Active New York LPN license
✔ BLS (required)
✔ ACLS (required)
✔ Travel experience preferred
