Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Stepdown

Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: 36 or 48 Hours per Week (Schedule may change during interview)

Position Summary:
Seeking an experienced Stepdown/Med Surg Overflow RN for a 48-bed cardiac stepdown unit providing close monitoring and multidisciplinary care for patients requiring more than medical-surgical level care but less than ICU.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience (greater than 2 years preferred)
Level I Trauma, large hospital, and travel experience required
Telemetry experience and IV start skills preferred
ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
First-time travelers not accepted
Locals within 100-mile radius not accepted
Pending licenses not accepted (must follow NLC guidelines)
All RTO must be submitted at time of application

Schedule Notes:

On-call and weekend shifts as needed
Every other weekend coverage may be required
Block scheduling not guaranteed
