Description
Job Description:
The radiologic technologist's responsibilities include following physicians' orders regarding the area of the body to scan, positioning patients and equipment, and answering patients' questions. The radiologic technologist will use imaging equipment to capture images of tissues, bones, organs, and vessels, and may assist in the administration of radiation therapy treatments or radiopharmaceuticals.
Qualifications/Skills
-Basic Life Support certification required
-Requires active status as a Registered Technologist-Radiography through American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or Graduate of an approved training program in Radiologic Technology
-Requires current Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) license as Radiologic Technologist
