Description

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated MedSurg Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract assignment. This is a day shift opportunity offering consistent scheduling and no floating requirements. The ideal candidate is a team-oriented professional with strong clinical skills and a commitment to high-quality patient care.

Schedule Details

Shift: 12-hour days (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM)
Hours: 36 hours per week
Weekend Rotation: Every Other Weekend (Saturday & Sunday)
No Floating

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to adult MedSurg patients
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop care plans
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Accurately document patient care and progress
Educate patients and families regarding treatment and discharge plans

Requirements

Active RN license (state-specific or compact, as applicable)
Minimum 1–2 years of recent MedSurg experience
Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred if required by facility)
Strong critical thinking and communication skills
