Description

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and confident Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) for a night shift opportunity. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment and is skilled in rapid assessment, critical thinking, and emergency intervention.

Shift Details

Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Schedule: 36 hours per week (3x12s)
Night Shift

Responsibilities

Perform rapid triage and comprehensive patient assessments
Provide emergency nursing care to patients of all ages and acuity levels
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with protocols
Assist with trauma cases, codes, and critical care interventions
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Educate patients and families regarding treatment and discharge instructions

Requirements

Active RN license (state-specific or compact, as applicable)
Minimum 1–2 years of recent Emergency Department experience preferred
BLS certification required
ACLS certification required

Preferred Certifications

ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
