Endoscopy Technician Opportunity

Local or Travel Contract | 13 Weeks + Extension Option

Pay:

• $1,780 Weekly Gross Travel Pay
• $37/hour Local Pay

Placement Type: Contract
Start Date: Mid-March
Contract Length: 13 weeks with strong extension potential

Schedule:

• Day Shift
• 40 hours per week

• 5 x 8-hour shifts

   

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Endoscopy Technician to support a fast-paced procedural team. This role assists physicians and nursing staff during endoscopic procedures while maintaining proper equipment handling and sterile processing standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain endoscopy procedure rooms and equipment
• Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures
• Perform scope cleaning, disinfection, and reprocessing
• Ensure proper sterilization and infection control standards
• Support patient preparation and procedural workflow
• Maintain accurate documentation and equipment readiness

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of Endoscopy Tech experience
• BLS certification required
• Experience with scope reprocessing and sterile technique

Preferred Certifications

• IAHCSMM or CBSPD
• SGNA certification
• Certificate from an accredited Surgical Technology program

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Graduate of accredited Surgical Technology program strongly preferred
• Sterile Processing training course preferred
