Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Medical Surgical Telemetry unit. This role involves providing direct patient care to adult patients requiring cardiac monitoring and post-acute medical/surgical management. The ideal candidate is clinically competent in telemetry interpretation, skilled in managing complex med-surg cases, and comfortable working in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
Manage post-operative orthopedic and general medical-surgical patients
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Document patient care accurately and in compliance with facility standards
Respond promptly to changes in patient condition

Qualifications

Active RN license
Current BLS certification (required)
ACLS certification (required)
Minimum 1–2 years recent experience in Med/Surg or Telemetry
Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills
Experience with adult acute care population
