Locations: Levelland, TX 79336
Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
Traveler Weekly Blended Pay : $2,614 weekly ($38/hr w2 + $1,246 week stipend)
Locals Hourly Pay : $65/Hour

Position Summary:

• Labor and delivery nurses provide care for women during labor, delivery, and the postpartum period.
• Their work involves delivering babies and assisting in the provision of comprehensive care and support for mother, baby, and family.
• As a labor and delivery nurse, you will use your knowledge, skills, and experience to provide safe, compassionate, and comprehensive care to patients during a crucial time.
• The job requires dedication, teamwork, and a special understanding of the birthing process.
• From fetal monitoring to delivery and beyond, labor and delivery nurses must be attentive, detail-oriented, and compassionate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor the mother and baby's vital signs throughout labor and delivery
• Administer medications and pain relief as required
• Provide education and emotional support to the mother and family
• Assist with labor-inducing procedures and techniques
• Prepare and maintain delivery rooms and equipment
• Assist obstetricians and midwives during delivery
• Perform postpartum care and monitor recovery
• Recognize and respond to complications or emergencies
• Document medical records and update patient charts
• Educate new mothers on newborn care practices

Experience Requirements:

• 1 year(s) of Experience
• MA License in hand
• ACLS, BLS, FHM, NRP
