Description
Location: Fargo, ND
Duration: 13 Weeks (Start Date: 03/30/2026)
Shift: Nights – 3x12s (36 hrs/week)
Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend & holidays required
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hrs/week (OT after 48 hrs)
Status: On Hold
Orientation: 8 hours
Trauma Level: Level I
Charting: EPIC
Scrubs: Navy Blue
Position Overview:
Float Pool RN covering all Med-Surg units across multiple campuses (Broadway, SMCF, South University). Will float daily based on staffing needs, including specialty med-surg units (oncology, cardiac, neuro, trauma, observation, behavioral, and med-surg overflow in critical care). Fast-paced, 250+ bed facility.
Requirements:
- Active ND RN or Compact License
- BLS (AHA) required
- Minimum 1 year recent Med-Surg experience in a 200+ bed hospital
- Float Pool experience preferred
- EPIC experience required
- Trauma Level II or higher experience required
- Not accepting first-time travelers (unless primary experience is Resource Pool)
- Must be willing to float between campuses
Ratios:
- 1:4–5 (7a–11p)
- 1:5–6 (11p–7a)
Local Rule:
- Cannot accept travelers within 60 miles
- 60–80 miles considered local (rate reduced by $8/hr)
Additional Notes:
- Must disclose prior Sanford employment (6-month separation required)
- Facility may cancel up to 12 hours per 13-week contract
- Must badge in/out daily
