Description

Minimum Experience

Required: 1.5 years of Mammography experience (Screening required)
Preferred: 2 years of experience with strong clinical competency
First-time travelers: Accepted

Work Settings

Inpatient (Preferred)
Outpatient

Key Responsibilities

Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms
Conduct 3-D Mammography (Tomosynthesis) procedures
Ensure high-quality imaging while maintaining patient comfort and safety
Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols
Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff
Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records
Adapt to department workflow and float between units as needed

Certifications & Licensure

ARRT (R) — Required
ARRT (M) — Preferred
California Mammography Radiologic Technologist License — Required
BLS Certification — Required
Active license required at time of submission (Pending licenses not accepted)

Vaccination Requirement

Flu Vaccine Required (No exemptions allowed)

Schedule & Assignment Details

Shift: Monday – Friday with Saturday rotation
Hours: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
(Hours may vary based on department needs)
On-Call: Not required
Floating: Yes — may float to different departments within the main campus
Scheduling Requests: Cannot be accommodated
