• Total Suites: 16 (2 dedicated CVOR suites)
• Average Cases/Day: 28
• 24/7/365 Staffing: Minimum 1 RN + 1 Surgical Tech
• Charge RN: Always present in OR
• OR Techs: Yes

🫀 Required Case Experience (Must Circulate CV/Thoracic)

Candidate must have strong experience with:

• daVinci Xi lung cases
• Open heart surgeries
• Valve replacements
• TAVR
• Thoracotomy
• Peripheral vascular cases

Also handles:

• C-sections
• Lap appy
• Lap chole
• Bowel resections

Specialty Groupings:

1. Ortho
2. Neuro / ENT / Oral / Plastics
3. CV-T (covers Peripheral Vascular)
4. General / GYN / Urology / Peripheral Vascular

🔹 Scrubbing Required: No (RN not required to scrub)

🕒 Shifts & Scheduling

Primarily Day Shift:

• 0700–1530
• 0700–1730
• 0700–1930

PM Rotation:

• 1500–2330 (1 week every ~5 weeks)

Night Shift (Possible with experience):

• 2300–0700

Shift Options:

• 8-hour or 10-hour shifts
• 12-hour shifts possible (NOT guaranteed)
• First contract → No 12s
• Subsequent contracts → Can request 12s (based on staffing)

📞 Call Requirements

• Weeknight Call: 1–2 nights/week (end of shift to 0700)
• Weekend Call: 1 weekend every 5–6 weekends
• Holiday Call: Minimum 1 holiday/year

Call Response Time:

• Call Team 1 → 30 minutes
• Call Teams 2–4 → 45 minutes

🔄 Floating

• May float to Outpatient Surgery Center (across campus)

👕 Dress Code

• Navy blue scrubs (provided via Cintas vending – no cost)
